About Me

Synopsis: Girl. 21. Cliche art student studying graphic design in NYC, on medical leave. Diagnostically crazy: borderline personality disorder, bulimia, impulse control disorder NOS, poly-substance dependence, adhd, dysthymia. Has spent the past year in treatment centers attempting to grasp the rather curious concept of recovery, and is finally finding balance, stability and serenity.
Likes: body acceptance activism, breaking the stigma of mental illness, chilling with my dad, gay rights, smoking cigarettes in the car with the windows down and music blaring, when people mistake me to be older than I am, cities (notably, new york), law & order: svu, apple products, eccentricity, pure insanity, having epiphanies in therapy sessions, helping other people, divulging my secrets and telling my story, internet piracy, scars.
Dislikes: being silenced, repeating myself about nonsensical things, secrets, undereducated mental health “professionals”, the idea of a higher power, judgement, ignorance, stupidity, lack of originality, deficit of imagination, absence of a want to better understand the self, hillbillies, southern accents.
Proud alumni of Timberline Knolls treatment center & the Austen Riggs Center.
